Aside from the fact that I’m running out of battery around the time this shot was taken, I’m feeling too lazy to expose for a longer time. Instead, I opted to take this shot at ISO800 f3.5 30secs. Luckily, the moon was still at its waning crescent phase to illuminate the whole cove and there was a kaingin happening that made the background interesting.

Capones Island
My first landscape shoot for 2012, and what a perfect way to start the year. We spent 3 days in Capones Island just off the coast of Brgy. San Antonio, Pundaquit, Zambales. Throughout our stay, we were blessed with beautiful sunsets and sunrises, and clear sky at night which is perfect for star trail photography.
